Decorative Bowls 'Slide'

“Oh what fun it is to ride….” ON A SLED!! REALLY FAST!! Down a beautiful, steep, exhilarating snow covered hill!! YA-HOOOOOO…. sign me up! This bowl is a commemorative piece for ALL of those fantastic sled rides of the past, and all the scintillating SLIDES that are just around the snow covered hilltop this winter! :)

The “SLIDE” bowl measures about 6.5” in diameter and is 3” deep. The inside of the bowl is a beautiful wintry blue with a black swirly. On the outside I painted 4 different kinds of sleds and on the underside of the bowl the artist wrote the word SLIDE and signed and dated it.

All functional pottery is painted with lead free/food safe glazes and is microwave and dishwasher safe, although the artist does recommend hand washing, just to be safe…. these are works of art, after all! Please do not put this in the oven!

This bowl is the perfect size for big helping of hot oatmeal or soup, cereal or salad, or it would be great for serving a side dish or a huge portion of something sweet! And what a fabulous reminder of just going for it and sliding with abandon down big, snowy hills! This bowl would also make a unique and fun gift for all the sliding dare-devils on your gift list!
